Colvert Privacy Policy (GDPR)

When you participate in our in-store WhatsApp surveys and related promotions (including coupon delivery and redemption) operated by Colvert SRL/BV (“Colvert”, “we”, “us”), we act as the data controller of your personal data in the European Economic Area (EEA). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why and how we use it, the lawful bases we rely on, and your rights under the EU/UK GDPR.

2. What data we collect
- WhatsApp identifiers: phone number, profile name, avatar, message metadata
- Survey responses: answers, free-text, any media you send, possibly some demographics
- Campaign data: QR/session ID, store location, coupon details, fraud signals
- Device & technical: browser/app info, IP, analytics events
- Support: messages sent to support and replies
We do not require sensitive categories of data. Please avoid sharing them.

4. Where we get your data
- Directly from you in WhatsApp
- From QR codes/links in stores
- From service providers (e.g., coupon validators, WhatsApp Business API partners)

- EU-based hosting and security providers
- Analytics (aggregated, anonymised)
- Coupon/redemption partners
- Support/operations providers
We never sell your data.
6. International transfers
If data leaves the EEA/UK, we use EU Standard Contractual Clauses (and UK equivalents) plus safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
- Campaign data: up to 36 months
- Survey responses: up to 24 months, then anonymised/deleted
- Marketing opt-ins: while active + 24 months after withdrawal
- Support tickets: up to 24 months
8. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing.
Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it anytime.

9. Security
We use encryption, access controls, monitoring, and incident response. No system is 100% secure, but we take appropriate measures.
10. Children
Our services are for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
